Hi guys, today I want to share with you my interpretation of Smart Casual Style with some notes of Elegance. Last years there is strange and wrong idea that if you wear jeans with blazer - you're trendy and stylish representative of "well-dressed in a casual style". Nevertheless, one should accept that it's not fashionable and looks kind of boring (except minimal smart casual or extreme contrasty items in the look). The idea of this style comes from being well dressed for events, parties, and workplaces in one. Anyway we shouldn't also forget that the important thing of Smart Casual is a little bit of confusion which definitely causes spectacular results.

Well you can ask: formal and informal in one, is it possible? Doubtless, yes, but you need to find harmony between comfort and elegance and do not cross the line. Below you can find my quick guide of what to wear and how to change resulting look to more elegant side.

Let us start from the blazer or jacket which I've turned into Grey Cardigan from warm and good quality knit material with 3/4 sleeves. First and foremost outerwear in our case is an easy way to add individuality and style to an outfit, so feel free to try different textures and models. As for me I've got this Cardigan after I had the same one but in Beige color and I was knowing that I will wear it a lot and can simply add it to any outfit of mine. Minimal, warm, elegant - in one word really nice.

Moving to the shirt I've stopped on a non traditional option cause I had already pretty minimal and classy cardigan. I was wearing Voile Spliced Blouse from Zaful with charming decorated sleeves: beautiful chiffon ruffles and invisible part between shoulder and elbow. Pleated blouse is unique and modern choice for Smart Casual, it gives feeling of luxury and nobleness to the outfit.

As for the bottom I suggest you keep it neutral and wear office black pants. For more pop of style feel free to fold your pants - this way it will look more chic and interesting. What is more, there is not exist better shoes for smart casual look as Glitter Elastic Boots. They make the whole look outstanding and orderly. This is actually my general option, make your boots to speak for yourself that you are ready for any type of occasion in this gorgeous pair.

As the most elegant detail of the outfit I find the pair of gentle earrings in classic Swarovski style. This pair of rhodium-plated pierced earrings will add high-impact glamour to any outfit and this is exactly what we need to dilute our office look.

To draw the conclusion, one can say that you need to see the whole picture and use a lot of unique details for not look like office worker. Add interesting textures, nice colors, unique shoes and a bit of elegant jewelry cause we are girls ;)
