November in Florina

It's my first November in Florina and I could never imagine it will be so beautiful and cozy. I feel so lucky because of non-stop sunny and good weather, incredible landscapes and slight coolness after hot greek summer. Even I stay a lot in home because of many works to do and endless common cold, me and Pete are always trying to go out at the weekend. There are a lot of places next to Florina Town where you can have a picnic with a nice view, a big field to play with your children or pets and a warm sun to enjoy all together. One of our favorite spots is a vineyard up in the mountains next to one traditional village. There are a little river, many trees and flowers. One time we even met a local shepherd who shared with us all secrets and news of the place, information about local bears and places with the best chestnuts. So I would definitely say that there is untouched nature in this place with its charms and shortcomings.

Every season has its drink and speaking about fall, it's definitely the red wine period. I love the wine to be semi sweet, cooled and served in a beautiful glass. However for drinking wine in nature we're using mini glasses which are compact and practical. The thing you should know about Florina is that there are numerous wineries at the area which are producing different types of wine. Varieties are absolutely remarkable: Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis, Gewürtztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Limnio, Mavrodaphne, Xinomavro, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Montepulciano, Barbera, Negroamaro, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Tannat. As you can see the list is pretty good same as Florina’s potential at wines industry. Of course I wish there would be more vineyards open to people but even now there is always a place to have fun and enjoy a drink. Next to it, fresh sweet grapes from Amyntaio for you and your children are available in local market just with 2 euro.

November is an absolute sweater weather season. I love to wear sweaters a lot, but always trying to keep my outfit with the stylish and chic touch. Here come details which are always turning look into something extraordinary stunning and eye-catching. My top 2 items which can simply make a difference are Baker Boy Hat (mine is from Rosegal) and Over The Knee Boots. I've got mine from Sammydress with the price under 35$. Sounds great, right? By the way this is the exact time when it's not just looking good, but also comfortable and practical.

There are no dates to celebrate in our family at November, but maybe it's even good. It means we can concentrate on forthcoming festive season and enjoy time of the lull. By the way I was thinking a lot that it's just 57 days till New Year and soon there will be time to look back and to sum up the year. I wish everybody will have something to be happy and proud about, and in case there is nothing coming up in your mind, you still have almost 2 months to work on it and chase your dreams.
