  • Petron Lake, Amyntaio, Greece

We were planning to go to Amyntaio for a long time now. Last week there was a great fall weather and in the evening we went to the Petron Lake which is about half hour from our house by car. While I was driving, we enjoyed the untouched beauty of Northern Greece, drank coffee, listened to music and actually had a great mini-trip time all together.

It was the first time when we have visited Petres, a little greek village next to the Petron Lake. This old village looks a little bit wild and abandoned, but still there are houses with people living inside, the church, the graveyard, one little cafenio and few public buildings. It was very silent and calm, but after we have crossed the village and went out to the lake area, we have heard a lot of birds flying in the sky and screaming so loud.

What a magic atmpsphere we've experienced: uninhabited nature with many different birds flying in the sky, ducks swimming in the lake, little fishes under the water and warm wind. My pup was walking and exploring every centimeter of the pier we have came to.

With colder weather I've mostly moved to the pants or Midi skirts. However I'm not giving up on floral print and gentle pastel colors which I adore so much. The Floral Ruffled One Shoulder Dress from Zaful was a perfect choice for the occassion. It is so soft that I was feeling the most cozy possible in combination with Knitted Long Sweater from H&M.

As I said for few days now there is an absolute "sweater weather" in Florina and I'm taking every chance to wear different models of them anytime me and Pete are going somewhere. I've never been afraid to try new models of sweaters but the classic retro cutting always has been my favorite. In my view the ideal sweater must be huge, warm, bright and soft.

While winter is slowly coming to us, I'm taking every possibility to travel with my family around Greece while roads are clean and have no snow. With that I wish you a great October with a lot of sun and fun! Remember that there is always something to explore.
