With Christmas right around the corner, I thought it would be perfect to bring a pop of red into Shiny Honey. You might notice that every year just before the Christmas I'm turning everything like the Instafeed, blog and social media avatars into festive and bright red. I love this color a lot and continue to keep this positive tradition up.

Today I'm coming to you in all red straight away from the main town on the North coast of the island - Aharavi. This place is very cute and reminds me some cartoon background with little colorful houses, one floor mini shops, stone roads, all year long green trees and exquisite benches. By the way as you can see festive season in the island is different: there is no snow, a lot of sun, nice weather and no people. I actually feel like it's March or October instead of the end of December.

I love the atmosphere in the island during the festive season. There are a lot of nice traditional Christmas details in Greece. All bakeries offers greek sweets, local shops full with chocolate, streets are decorated with lights and toys and jazz music plays almost in every corner. It feels romantic and brings a touch of nostalgia.

My red from head to toe outfit was inspired by Mrs. Claus, the wife of Santa Claus. So, like Mrs. Claus herself try to add a little bit of red in your wardrobe. Try to feel comfortable in it, try to share the good energy, to be nice to people, to speak kind and to be a better version of yourself. After all, red is the color of love, passion and brings out the better feminine side of every woman. Just perfect for the absolute festive season which is no other than Christmas.

It's not a problem during this season to find Red Booties to buy. However do you really need them? I was speaking about it here once already but let's make it clear. If you have a lot of good shoes and want to try red booties for a few times only (maybe only for photos or for a party), you can buy inexpensive model just for one season. If you are trying to find shoes for everyday, which you will wear from the morning till the night and will style with all your wardrobe - skip the red and invest with the mind into something more wearable.

The Sock Bootie which I've styled in collaboration with Gamiss is pure beauty, but it was really hard to combine. It's not an everyday option and attracts a lot of attention. No doubt that it's chic, stylish and so trendy, but are you sure that you can stand it? Give the pair of red a try at Happy New Year's Eve Party and shine like a star.

Concluding, we are going back to Florina for Christmas. There are some things to pack and a lot of last works to finish before we leave, so I'm not sure if I will make any posts before 25 December on Shiny Honey. Already wishing you a Merry Christmas and will write you soon from Florina Snowtown!
