Dear Friends and Readers of Shiny Honey, 2018 is almost gone and it's time to look back and make a short review about what happened on my blog and my life. 2018 was the hardest year of my life till now, but still I'm thankful for a lot of things. First of all for the strength inside me which brought me through the total disappointment I experienced this year. I'm thankful to God always watching me and leading me invisible to my life purpose. I'm thankful to my friends who helped me with a lot of difficulties and supported in hard moments...
Have you ever been in Meteora, guys? What a magical place it is with its incredible energy, beauty and soul. The Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Mount Athos. There are six unique monasteries which are built on immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders that dominate the local area. It is located near the town of Kalambaka at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Pineios river and Pindus Mountains...VIEW THE POST
There are no words to express how much I love summer. Being all the time outside, going to the beach and out in the evenings, traveling by car and taking ships, drinking greek coffee and eating yummy ice cream... However there is one thing which make any moment to feel different and can change everything. I'm speaking about Music. Research proves that when we listen to music we like, our brain releases dopamine, a “feel-good” neurotransmitter. Large amounts of dopamine cause emotions like happiness, excitement, and joy. Listening to music we enjoy...VIEW THE POST
What a month it was for me - Crazy and Endless May! If you guys could only imagine what things I did in just 30 days. However missing so much all of you, my Instagram and my favorite Shiny Honey Blog, I'm finally here to share with you all what I've been through for the last period. At the start of May my mom has visited us for 16 days. She came from cold and rainy Russia to sunny and beautiful Corfu, so I really wanted to show her as much as I only could. We have visited so many places which I'm really excited about. First of all we explored all sightseings of Northern Corfu which are Acharavi, Roda, Sidari, Kassiopi, Peroulades, Canal D'Amour and few local beaches. Then we explored...VIEW THE POST

Today I'm excited to share with you my last post from Florina and there is no better day for it than end of November and autumn season in one. Me and Pete are living in Corfu for over one week now and I can't wait to share with you all local discoveries I've been through but first let's say Goodbye to Florina, the town where we have spent all summer and half of the fall. Florina is really nice and cute town, but now I'm absolutely sure that I'm an absolute island girl...

End of summer calls for the most long-awaited and delicious gifts of nature which are grapes, peaches, corn and sunflowers. Me and Pete were waiting for these fruits and vegetables from April and even asked our family friend Teo to keep for us a few of corn cobs from the local fields of Florina area. Just a few days ago he has visited us and brought a huge box of corn and famous local yoghurt Dodoni. All childhood me and Pete were spending in village with grandmothers and grandfathers. They had animals, fields, vegetables, fruits, berries and even well-water. So Pete liked a lot to eat corn cobs and I was experienced enough to cook it. So with this post I would like to share with you classic and old recipe of Corn Cobs from my grandma. There are...
Having so many things to do in my everyday life, I just realized that we're actually in the middle of summer and fast moving to the last summer month August. This month is always very special for me. First of all it's my Birthday month and I'm excited to see how much I've changed from the previous year. There are always things to see, to compare, to think about. So I understand, love and live the end of Summer much deeper comparing to any other time of the year. This time is an energy for me, the moment when I exhale all the difficulties and prepare...
My love to Corfu Old Town has no end. This place makes me feel happy, inspired and thankful. It has its special feeling like you are the part of some fairytale and every of your steps in the town somehow has a meaning. I love every corner of this place and can't get enough of its beauty. Me and Pete used to walk in these streets all winter long without any tourists or sellers who are always trying to speak to us english and make us to buy anything in their shops. Besides, there is summer on the calendar and I can't ignore the fact that...
As much as I love fashion, I'm the same addicted to food and especially to Greek Cuisine. The cuisine has a culinary tradition of some 4000 years and is a part of the history and the culture of Greece. The most characteristic and ancient element of Greek cuisine is olive oil, which is used in most dishes. It is produced from the olive trees prominent throughout the region, and adds to the distinctive taste of Greek food. The olives are also widely eaten. The basic grain in Greece is wheat, though barley is also grown. Important vegetables include tomato, potato, green beans, red peppers, and onions. Well I am absolutely in love with greek food, greek history and...
